I am about to begin my final quarter of SCAD with two sequential art classes, Intro and Conceptual Illustration. Finishing my degree by learning beyond the painting building is exciting in itself and that I happen to be in one of the best places to learn sequential art is very fortunate. Between my classes and living in what is now Ian’s headquarters for his comic book data base brainchild I practically have my minor in sequential art. I’m glad for the comic twist of fate since a narrative and textual element is where my work has been progressing the past few months anyway; I might as well embrace.

I have done a lot of new work and moved to a new studio, right next to my room. The move revealed the large amount of work I have done and need to finish. I hope to be making a substantial website update in the next few weeks.
For now I am posting a copy of my semi ridiculous kitten business card, based on a painting I did this past April for my former roommates and their kitten Miles. Though I still feel it would benefit from a dainty gold leaf crown, it is pretty much finished. The painting will soon be on its way up North and the business cards will make their way around the whole wide world.
